DGC is thrilled to welcome Beth da Silva as a guest on “Unique Perspectives – The DGC Podcast.” She recently joined DGC as a Partner in our Business Consulting practice. In this episode, Beth will tell you about her background and how her skillset has helped make an already impressive Business Consulting team even stronger. Beth spoke with the host of DGC’s podcast Tom Annino.
Tom Annino: What are some of your areas of expertise? (:39 MARK)
Beth da Silva: I provide Litigation consulting, and Fraud and Forensic Investigative services to clients. I would categorize those into three main areas: Claims involving Accounting and Auditing matters, Post-Acquisition Disputes or Ownership Disputes, and then Investigative Services and Forensic Accounting services.
TA: There are a lot of choices out there. Why do you feel like clients turn to you? (1:07 MARK)
BdS: I think it’s the combination of the technical skillset I have, the knowledge that I have, as well as all of the experience that I have in the litigation setting, whether it’s as an expert witness or an investigator.
TA: You’re already joining a strong team here at DGC in our Business Consulting group. What is it that you bring to the table or an added dimension that you bring to this already strong team? (1:25 MARK)
BdS: It’s the depth of the technical skills of this team, and the variety of services that we provide. If someone comes to me with a technical issue or some type of a dispute, there is going to be someone on our team who is going to either have the experience or have the deep technical knowledge to solve these kind of problems. It’s really exciting. It’s a great collaborative group between the Transaction Services, Valuation, and the Litigation and Forensic Accounting services.
