Requirements vary by state but the vast majority require 120 hours of CPE every 3 years with a minimum of 20 hours per calendar year. The requirement can be fulfilled through attending live seminars, webcast seminars, or through self-study (textbooks, videos, online courses, all of which require a test to receive credit).

Students pursuing a fifth year accounting degree will be granted an unpaid leave of absence for one or both summers, depending on their start date with the firm. These individuals will be entitled to a full, subject to limitations, annual reimbursement for each summer.
