DGC was proud to once again sponsor an annual scholarship through the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) and their Educational Foundation. This year’s recipient of the DGC (DiCicco, Gulman & Company LLP) Scholarship is Suffolk University student and Somerville, Massachusetts resident Anmol Bhargo.
“The Society is proud to support young people who will be the future of the CPA profession,” said Amy Pitter, president and CEO of the MSCPA. “Becoming a CPA opens up different opportunities in a variety of fields, and we couldn’t be happier to support students along their journey.”
Anmol was one of 52 students selected to receive a scholarship from the Educational Foundation’s 2019 Scholarship Program. The mission of the MSCPA’s Educational Foundation is to inspire and support the next generation of CPAs in Massachusetts. MSCPA scholarships are available for both undergraduate and graduate accounting students who are attending a college or university in Massachusetts or attending a college or university out-of-state with a permanent residence in Massachusetts. Scholarship funds are issued directly to the students and can be used for tuition, books, interviewing expenses or other needs. For more information about the Educational Foundation, click here.
