EXPERIENCE
Stephen joined the firm in 2007 and is a Principal in the Private Clients Group with 19 years of
experience providing sophisticated tax consulting, tax compliance, and estate and income tax
planning services to high net worth individuals, their families, and their businesses. Prior to joining DGC, he held the position of tax manager at a regional accounting firm and has also worked in the tax consulting departments of two international CPA firms.
EXPERTISE
Stephen specializes in advising clients, client representatives and family office groups on tax
matters related to high net worth individuals and their various entities. His clients include corporate executives and directors of publicly and privately held companies, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs and closely-held business owners, hedge fund and private equity fund managers, as well as other professionals in the investment, legal, and medical fields. He has advised clients on issues such as stock options and compensation planning, taxation of investment strategies, AMT minimization, philanthropic planning alternatives, and transfers of significant wealth at minimal estate, gift and income tax costs.
