EXPERIENCE
George is a Partner in the firm’s Commercial Business Group. He has over 25 years of experience providing tax and business advisory services to clients in a wide range of industries including manufacturing, distribution, retail, business services, consumer and industrial products, healthcare, and technology (including software, medical devices, and life sciences). He has worked with many international clients on cross-border mergers and acquisitions support.
George was previously national partner in charge of an international firms Transaction Advisory Services practice (financial due diligence "quality of earnings") and Corporate Finance practice (investment banking on middle market transactions, buy-side and sell-side) and has been involved with over 200 transactions with cumulative value of over $1.5B.
George's corporate finance transactions also include buyout's between family ownership groups and management buyout transactions, carve outs and rollup strategies.
EXPERTISE
As the Partner in charge of Transaction Advisory Services, George provides financial due diligence ("quality of earnings"), mergers and acquisitions tax structuring, buy/sell transaction support and post acquisition integration services. George also specializes in coordinating audit/tax services with issues related to private equity/venture owned clients.
