DiCicco Gulman & Company Strengthens Line-Up Promoting Five to Principal

Woburn, MA (August 27, 2007)--Woburn-based CPA and business advisory firm DiCicco, Gulman & Company (DGC) has promoted Laura Barooshian, Melissa Peirce, Bob Calzini, Bill Jenczyk and Chad DaGraca to principal. Managing Partner Lenny DiCicco congratulated the five on their achievement, “We are please to recognize them for their contributions. As the firm builds momentum in the marketplace, a strong team is paramount to the continued success of DGC.”

Laura Barooshian joined DGC in 2000 and has over 14 years of industry expertise in tax planning and compliance for high net worth individuals and international taxation. In 2001, she championed the firm’s transition to a paperless environment and has continued to implement policy and procedures for the firm’s paperless environment. Laura is an active member of the Boston Estate Planning’s finance committee.  

Bob Calzini joined DGC shortly after the firm’s founding in 1995.  He has over 11 years of accounting, auditing and taxation experience with expertise in consulting for real estate entities, partnerships, trusts, and high net worth individuals. Bob is a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPA’s and the American Institute of CPA’s.

Bill Jenczyk joined DGC in 2003 and has 20 years of experience providing audit and consulting services to closely held businesses. Areas of expertise include: real estate, professional service firms, wholesale, retail, and manufacturing entities. Bill has improved audit efficiencies through the introduction of automated software and continues to be a champion for the firm’s technological evolution. Bill is very active in his community and currently serves as Treasurer for several community organizations.

Chad DaGraca joined DGC’s audit department in 2005 and provides auditing, accounting, tax and business advisory services for closely held businesses and individuals. He specializes in developing strategies to minimize federal and state tax liabilities for clients in architecture and engineering, construction, wholesale, distribution, high-tech and retail automotive.

Melissa Peirce joined DGC’s Audit Department in 2001 and has over 16 years of experience in public accounting.  Melissa works primarily with closely-held businesses in the retail, manufacturing, and distribution industries. She provides a breadth of services including audits and reviews of financial statements, internal control system evaluations and consulting on various related matters.
