Woburn, MA February 12, 2009 - DiCicco, Gulman & Company LLP (DGC), a CPA and business consulting firm specializing in the accounting and financial matters of private companies, today announced that Jon Butler has joined the firm as an audit manager in the firm’s Commericial Practice group.
Prior to joining DGC, Butler spent five years at Grant Thornton, LLP, where he was the lead manager on large accounts in the firm’s Boston office, working with clients in both the private and public sectors. Butler’s significant experience with stock compensations, acquisitions, consolidations and minority interest, fair value accounting and goodwill and intangible assets makes for a great fit with DGC’s diverse clients.

Butler received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting from Stonehill College and is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He resides in Peabody, MA and enjoys playing basketball and softball in his spare time.
