Cheryl Burke Named COO at DiCicco, Gulman, & Company
WOBURN, MA (July 10, 2006)—Woburn based CPA firm, DiCicco, Gulman and Company (DGC) (), is pleased to announce the newest addition to their growing team, Cheryl Burke. Burke joins DGC as Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Human Capital, Technology, Finance, Marketing and Administration as well as implementation of the firm’s strategic plan.
Burke comes to DGC with a diverse background in Operations and Information Technology. Prior to joining DGC, Burke was Principal and Director of Operations at a large regional accounting firm where she was responsible for directing operations and developing, executing, and managing technology activities. “DGC is a growing firm that has a clear vision of where it is going and what it would like to be known as in the marketplace,” Burke states. “My professional experiences have put me in a great position to help DiCicco Gulman achieve its strategic goals.“
Burke earned her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Business Administration from the Frank Sawyer School of Management at Suffolk University. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Greater Boston Guild for the Blind, a member of Suffolk University’s Information Systems and Operations Management Advisory Board and is an active member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.
