Boston Business Journal Names Cheryl Burke a "40 Under 40"
DiCicco, Gulman & Company COO Recognized for Outstanding Contributions to the Boston Business Community
Woburn, MA (September, 20, 2007)— The Boston Business Journal has selected Cheryl Burke, Chief Operating Officer at Woburn-based CPA and business advisory firm DiCicco, Gulman & Company (DGC) (www.dgccpa.com), as a 2007 "40 under 40." This year’s recipients are all innovators in their respected industries and the next generation of Boston’s business leaders. The award recognizes the best and the brightest under the age of 40 in the Greater Boston business community.
Cheryl joined DGC in 2006 as Chief Operating Officer. Her extensive experience in all areas of Operations Management including Human Capital, Information Technology and Finance has provided her with the expertise and knowledge to lead one of the fastest growing accounting firms in New England. As the firm continues to expand, Cheryl was instrumental in securing DGC’s affiliation with the Moore Stephens Network, allowing the firm to interact globally and support their clients’ worldwide business practices.

Cheryl is an active member of the community serving as President for the St. Mary of the Hills Parent Teacher Organization, Vice Chair for the Greater Boston Guild for the Blind in addition to serving on the advisory board for Suffolk University Information Systems and Operations Management. She currently resides in Milton, MA with her family.
The recipients will be recognized at an awards reception Thursday, October 11th at Boston’s Marriot Copley Hotel.
