EXPERIENCE
Laurie joined DGC in 2000 and is a partner in the Firm's tax practice group with over 20 years of experience providing tax planning, consulting services and tax compliance for high net worth individuals, their families, and their businesses. Before joining our firm, she was a Shareholder at Tofias Fleishman Shapiro & Co., P.C., and a Tax Supervisor at Coopers & Lybrand.

EXPERTISE
Laurie works closely with high net worth individuals and their advisors to provide comprehensive income tax planning and compliance services. She considers the clients’ goals and objectives as she consults on tax issues affecting their families, trusts, private foundations and other estate and investment entities.

Laurie also has special expertise in dealing with U.S. expatriate compensation matters, tax reimbursement policy development, equity based compensation, and foreign tax credit planning. She is responsible for the management and coordination of major foreign national and expatriate accounts involving engagements in both the U.S. and overseas.  She works with tax advisors worldwide and coordinates global tax planning for her clients.  Laurie serves as the Tax Practice Group Leader at DGC and is responsible for managing the Firm's tax practice including supervision of almost thirty tax professionals, establishing tax processes and oversight of the Firm's tax policy.
