 EXPERIENCE
David is a Partner in the firm’s Commercial Business Group. Prior to joining the firm in 2005, he spent 18 years at a large, New England-based, CPA firm, where he was an audit partner, consulting practice department head, and a member of the Board of Directors.
EXPERTISE
David is focused on the financial advisory needs of closely held businesses, high net worth individuals and family groups, private equity investors, legal counsel and financial institutions. He specializes in auditing and taxation, internal controls and systems, financial and tax planning, placement of debt and equity financing, long term planning for ownership perpetuation, advising on merger and acquisition transactions, due diligence services, dispute and investigative advisory services, field examination services and evaluation of new business opportunities.
As the partner in charge of the firm’s Architecture and Engineering practice, David has over
20 years experience servicing the A/E/C industry. He is a frequent speaker on topics related to his area of expertise, including A/E/C firm profitability, deferred compensation arrangements, merger and acquisition tax structure, and tax planning for closely held businesses. In addition to serving clients in the A/E/C industry, David also works with clients in other industries including consumer products, professional service, manufacturing, technology, banking,
and finance.
